Fez








I don't often post images of installations that are created for display in a gallery setting, so here are a few of one created at the end of 2013 for an exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey.

really beautiful, and very touching. thank you for your sensitivity. but why on earth it's on a fez! Turkish people, the secular ones who mostly participate in these demonstrations, really don't like to be represented by this Ottoman relic, which is loaded with unfavorable orientalist attitudes.
